THE LOCATION

Abbey House Museum, once the gatehouse to the now ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, is set in one of the most picturesque areas of Leeds. The very top floor, known as the Abbots’ room, is said to be the place that a lone monk likes to reside, with shadows, touch and groans being witnessed.
