THE LOCATION

Bannockburn House was built during the 17th century with later additions made in the 19th century. The house has seen many a family live there over its lifetime and today is open to the public where visitors can take a wander around this large property.

Entering the main doors, you are greeted by the large main hall with its ornately decorated ceiling. Multiple doors lead off from the hall and you’ll discover the servant’s worn staircase, a drawing room which was badly damaged by a savage fire, and also a laundry and kitchen area. Many parts of this location have their original fixtures and fittings and the modern world simply bleeds away are you make your way through the house.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

Bannockburn House has quite the history, and it is no surprise ghostly activity is said to be present. Unknown voices have been reported along with the presence of a female who lingers around the main hall area.
